PIN Mail AG, Berlin
The largest postal company, PIN Mail AG, was founded in April 1999 as PIN intelligente Dienstleistungen AG (PIN Intelligent Services) and, with its approximately 1,000 employees, now ranks as one of the largest private postal service companies in Europe. PIN Mail AG was one of the first companies to receive the necessary licences for the transportation and delivery of mail from the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur). In the meantime, more than half a million mailings are processed daily in the company’s own sorting centre and are reliably delivered to their addressees. Over the years, PIN Mail AG mail carriers have become an integral part of Berlin’s streetscape and it would be hard to imagine the city without them. The company has seven shops offering comprehensive services for its customers, 16 logistic branch offices with customer centres, 300 PIN partner shops and more than 400 mailboxes located throughout Berlin. Thus, customers have an extensive network of services for all their postal needs right at their fingertips.

The regional newspapers belonging to the Holtzbrinck Group, i.e. Main- Post, Suedkurier, Saarbruecker Zeitung, Trierscher Volksfreund and the Lausitzer Rundschau, offer private mailing services via their subsidiary companies.
