
Handelsblatt
On May 16, 1946 the first edition of Handelsblatt was published in Düsseldorf. This leading German business newspaper quickly acquired an impressive international reputation. Today, Handelsblatt is the largest newspaper for business and finance published in the German language.
More than 150 editors, correspondents and permanent staff all over the world ensure up-to-date, comprehensive, and factually sound reporting. The newspaper's readership comprises the decision-makers and opinion-makers of the German business world. With a circulation of over 140,000 copies, Handelsblatt is read by some half a million people every day.
Today, the Handelsblatt brand stands for a broad range of publications and services. In addition to the daily flagship newspaper, it includes the afternoon paper Handelsblatt News am Abend, which is printed in A4 format and available to business travelers on planes and trains; an archive going back to the year 1986; and numerous book series. In cooperation with the conference organizer Euroforum, Handelsblatt also hosts the Handelsblatt events.
